Pregnancy Services

PSC’s services are confidential and offered at no cost to you.             

• Medical staff will meet with you during your appointment. You will have a chance to share information about your situation, ask medical questions in a confidential setting and discuss your test/ultrasound results with an RN. An RDMS performs all ultrasounds at PSC. PSC operates under the supervision of a Medical Director who is an MD.

• Medical grade urine pregnancy testing is offered.

• Pregnancy verification will be provided for positive pregnancy tests and can be used when applying for medical insurance and to facilitate scheduling with an OB/GYN.

• Abortion information is available to help you better understand your options and the risks involved with each.

• Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound will be performed, if appropriate, which can:

  1) determine gestational age (how many weeks into the pregnancy you are)

  2) confirm that the pregnancy is viable (that you are not miscarrying), and

  3) determine if the pregnancy is ectopic, a serious medical condition in which the

  pregnancy implants and grows outside of the main cavity of the uterus.

• Community Resource Information is available to help you locate programs and agencies within our community.

• Educational classes are available to help you navigate your unique situation. Topics include parenting, mental health, finances and healthy relationships. 

• PSC stocks some essential items that may be helpful in meeting your practical needs.

  PSC does not perform nor refer for abortions and does not prescribe medications.

  All services are confidential and provided at no cost to you.
