Abortion Education

Abortion, whether surgical or by medication, is a significant decision.  It is important to take control and get the facts before you decide.  Part of that decision is understanding your options and the risks that are involved with each.  Knowing how many weeks into the pregnancy you are affects what choices are available to you. 

If appropriate, our sonographer can perform a limited obstetrical ultrasound at no charge to date of the pregnancy, confirm that the pregnancy is viable and also to determine if the pregnancy is in the uterus (not ectopic).

CONSIDERING THE ABORTION PILL?

Did you know that the FDA still requires these medications to be supervised by a nurse or a doctor because of potential complications? Medical abortions are not recommended for women with certain health conditions or beyond a certain point in your pregnancy. Even if you have already ordered the abortion pill(s), you can call, walk in, or make an appointment to discuss your options.

 PSC does not charge for any of our services.  We do not benefit in any way, including financial, from your decision.  Our staff is here to help you regain control and make an informed, empowered choice about your future and your health.
